Straight answers to the questions you'll actually ask.
Especially the ones procurement and IT bring — about your data, accuracy, and how Viictor fits what you already run.
The basics
What is Viictor?
An AI colleague for customs & global trade compliance, built by people who've done the work for two decades. It reasons over your own data, shows its work back to the rule, and tells you when it isn't sure. It does two jobs — advise (the Consultant) and run operations (the Orchestrator).
What's the difference between the Consultant and the Orchestrator?
The Consultant advises — it reasons over your data, answers questions, and assigns the manual tasks to your team. The Orchestrator runs your operations — automated processing, plus the tasks that still need a human. Hold either, or both; held together, they close the loop.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
A generic chatbot predicts a plausible answer from the open web. Viictor reasons over a formal model of your goods and the rules that apply to them — grounded in the WCO and UN/CEFACT standards — so every answer is traceable to the regulation, not guessed. And it stays in its lane: customs & trade compliance, not everything.
What do VaaC, VaaA and VaaO mean?
They are the same colleague in different roles — each name is “Viictor as a …”. VaaC is Viictor as a Consultant (advises on your data). VaaA is Viictor as an Assistant (sets your control tower up in conversation). VaaO is Viictor as an Operator (runs it live). The Consultant is VaaC; the Orchestrator holds VaaA and VaaO.
Data & security
Where is my data processed?
Your private knowledge bases and the symbolic reasoning layer stay on your own ecosystem node. The AI reasoning runs on enterprise-grade managed cloud infrastructure, in a region you choose — so query context is processed where you need it. We name the specific sub-processors in our DPA.
Do you train on my data?
No. Under our contractual terms, your inputs aren't used to train the underlying model, and aren't shared with the model provider.
Can I require EU data residency?
Yes — the managed cloud we run on is region-based, so we align residency to your requirements (EU residency available); we'll confirm the exact region for your deployment. Higher tiers add physical-isolation options.
Is my knowledge shared with other customers?
No. Your private knowledge base lives on your own node — not pooled with anyone else.
What about GDPR data-subject rights?
A standard 30-day response process; deletion requests remove your data from Vivansa systems, and DPIA-ready documentation is available for your privacy team.
Accuracy & trust
How accurate is it — can I rely on it for a decision?
Viictor shows its reasoning and cites the rule, so every answer is checkable — by you and by an auditor. When something is a judgement call, it says so, gives its confidence, and tells you what would make it certain (for instance, applying for a Binding Origin Information). It backs your professional judgement; it does not replace it.
Integration
Does it work with my ERP, GTMS, and TMS?
Yes. Viictor harmonises compliance master data across the systems you already run, and orchestrates your existing providers — brokers, forwarders, screening, government filings — alongside our own.
Do I have to replace my current tools?
No. Viictor sits over your existing compliance stack, not in place of it. No rip-and-replace.
Plans & getting started
What's free, and what's paid?
The Consultant starts Free — the Core Customs Determination category in full (classification, valuation, origin), and it stays free. It’s invite-only while we’re in early access; it won’t stay that way. Pro (€89/mo) opens all eight knowledge categories and much more. Max plans give 3×, 5× or 10× Pro usage. Exact allowances are confirmed in-app at signup.
How do I start?
We're in invite-only early access right now. Request early access and we'll be in touch. The Orchestrator is set up with you, so book a demo.
Can I try the Orchestrator for free?
Not yet — it's configured with you, so it's demo-led today. A free self-serve entry is on the way as the Assistant matures.
