Viictor is built by Vivansa — a Belgian customs & global-trade compliance company at work since 2001. Not a startup discovering customs; a customs team building software.
Who we are
Customs is all we do.
Vivansa has spent more than two decades inside the part of global trade most people never see: classifications, origin rules, declarations, audits. Our software runs real customs operations today — from Inward Processing Relief in the UK to excise compliance across Europe. The heritage runs deeper still: the people behind Vivansa helped deploy and support the trans-European CCN/CSI network in the 1990s, and our co-founder Jacques was Chief Architect of EMCS — the excise network carrying hundreds of millions of messages a year since 2010. Viictor is what that experience looks like when it learns to read your data and talk back.
Our why
So that compliance is never a reason to give up.
Again and again, we watched capable businesses decide that trading across a border simply wasn't worth it — not because they couldn't make the product or find the customer, but because the compliance was too heavy, too uncertain, too easy to get wrong. So they stayed home, and something was lost that no one ever recorded: the order not placed, the market not entered.
Viictor is our attempt to lower that barrier. Not to remove the rules — they exist for good reasons — but to make them navigable, so that following them is no longer a reason to give up. If it helps one more business say yes to a border instead of no, it's doing its job.
